Caillet
Tenor

Ronan Caillet began his music studies in Colmar and Strasbourg, where he received horn lessons in addition to his vocal training. He then began his full vocal studies at the HfM Freiburg in the class of Prof. Torsten Meyer, which he completed at the HMT Leipzig with Prof. Berthold Schmid and with Jean-François Rouchon at the Conservatoire Royal in Bruxelles. He has won prizes at the Bundeswettbewerbs Gesang (junior category) and the CantateBach Singing Competition, among others. His busy concert schedule is reflected in almost all major oratorio roles, which he sang under Helmuth Rilling, Hans-Christoph Rademann and the Freiburger Barockorchester, among others. In 2017 he performed with the Nürnberger Symphoniker as part of the IMA and studied with renowned artists such as Edith Wiens, Marcelo Amaral, Brigitte Fassbaender etc. Earlier in 2019, Ronan joined SWR and Deutsche Radio Philharmomie as a participant in the Emmerich Smola: Young Opera Star 2019 Promotional Award. In 2018, he reached the final round of the German Music Competition and the Dortmund International Schubert Competition with pianist Malte Schäfer. Last December, they won the Prix de Mélodie Française of the Concours Nadia & Lili Boulanger in Paris together, followed by an invitation from the radio station France Musique.
