Indoor and outdoor catering will be on offer from June 2021 with contact tracing. The outdoor area of the theatre café offers tables for up to six people, with table or self service. ‹Extrabar› by nomad
Our new summer bar opens on 2 August in front of our main entrance on Theaterplatz; offering cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.
- Sun – Weds 5 pm – 11 pm
- Thurs – Sat 2 pm – 1 am
The bars in the theatre reopened on 30 May 2021, offering refreshments before performances and during intervals. Please note that all food and drinks must be consumed seated at a table, initially in groups of up to four people.
To avoid having to wait, book a table for the interval before the performance at the theatre bar. Your order and a seat will be ready and waiting for you in the newly designed foyer at the start of the interval.
Unfortunately, the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions do not allow us to cater for external guests in our canteen at this moment in time. We deeply regret this and thank you for your understanding.
In the foyer of the Schauspielhaus, the Besenstiel Restaurant team serves snacks and drinks one hour before the start of the performance and during intervals. The team also takes care of the catering at premiere parties, Apéros and banquet events.
Restaurant Besenstiel is connected directly to Schauspielhaus.
