Portrait Solenn Lavanant Linke

After studying sculpture at Beaux Arts de Paris, Solenn' Lavanant Linke discovered her vocation for opera with Gary Magby at HEM in Lausanne. After graduating, she began working with the opera studio of Theater Basel in 2009 and continued to do so as a member of the ensemble under the direction of Dietmar Schwarz and Georges Delnon. She has sung Medee at Opernhaus Zürich, Cherubino at Bayerische Staatsoper, Donna Elvira at Luzerner Theater in a production by Benedikt von Peter, Elle in ‹La voix humaine› in Geneva and Carmen and Dorabella in Basel as part of a production directed by Calixto Bieito. At Festival d'Aix en Provence, she performed the roles of Ottavia, Dido and Ippolita under the direction of Leonardo García Alarcón. Since 2019, she has been the artist in residence at Staatstheater Mainz, where she has appeared on stage as Orlofsky, Hänsel, Ramiro and Piacere. Solenn' has been an ensemble member of Luzerner Theater since the 2021/22 season. She can be seen there in the 2022/23 season in ‹Herzog Blaubarts Burg›, ‹Der Rosenkavalier› and ‹Alcina›. Further, she plans to give a recital with Riccardo Bovino as part of the «Stimmen zu Gast» series in Liestal.
