Rocío Hernández Marchant, born 1985 in Santiago, Chile does scenography, lighting and costume design for theater and live performances. She studied theatre design at the Universidad de Chile. Since the beginning of her studies, she has collaborated with different local companies and directors in the theater field. She has participated in more than 50 theater productions that have premiered in Chile and have been seen in prestigious festivals and international guest performances. Her work is characterized by a unique complementary combination of light and space. She collaborated with director Manuela Infante in several works such as ‹Estado vegetal›, ‹ZOO›, ‹How to turn to stone› and ‹Noise. Das Rauschen der Menge›. Most recently, she curated 'Minor Monsters' at the PQ Quadriennal 2019 in Prague, for which she received the ‹Young Audience Award› and the ‹Award for Collaborative Realization of an Exhibit›.
