A stock market thriller with music

«Dangerous composure» is a term used by experienced economists to refer to a period when markets ignore the fact that every upswing is followed by a downswing. The inflationary «boom» is ultimately followed by a «bang», which in turn triggers the next «crash». But maybe we are simply living in a period of « temporary warming». And it is not just non-professionals who increasingly have trouble imagining the values being traded on the financial markets. In this first work at Theater Basel, author and director Bonn Park combines musical-theatrical elements with the dramatic and sensual moods of the markets.
