Rosemary
Rosemary Hardy has been part of the Christoph Marthaler family for more than 25 years. She worked with Anna Viebrock in the production 'wozuwozu' at the Schauspielhaus Cologne. In 2013 she was invited by Karin Beier to be part of the theatre ensemble at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. Rosemary Hardy is particularly associated with contemporary music. She has performed several major works by György Kurtag with musicians such as Pierre Boulez and Peter Eötvös. Under the baton of Christoph von Dohnanyi, she has sung Schoenberg's 'Erwartung' with the Cleveland Orchestra and played the lead role Max in Oliver Knussen's 'Wo die wilden Kerle wohnen' at Glyndebourne. With Novoflot she performs experimental operas in Berlin, Athens and Copenhagen.
