Imogen Knight

Imogen Knight is a movement director and artist working with the body in the form of choreography, connectivity and somatic movement. She works across theatre, film and tv, classical and electronic music, performance and visual art, photography, and opera. She was movement coach on ‹Chernobyl› for HBO and for the upcoming ‹The Power for Amazon.› She works closely with the visual artist and performer Heather Agyepong and in 2021 they premiered ‹THE BODY REMEMBERS›. Imogen is the movement director for NYX – female trans non binary electronic drone choir. Collaborations include the London Sinfonietta, Southbank Sinfonia and Royal College of Music and Royal Northern College of Music. Imogen worked alongside the music artists Common, Matthew Herbert, Gazelle Twin and Keeley Forsyth. She is involved with the innovative charity BODY & SOUL. She has strong ties with CLEAN BREAK Theatre Company who work to create profound and positive change in the lives of women with experience of the criminal justice system. Imogen was awarded the Choreography for Children 2012 commission by Sadler’s Wells, Company of Angels and The Place. ‹OMG!› premiered at The Place and Sadler’s Wells in 2013.
