Gelzer Board of Directors

Thomas Gelzer was born in Basel in 1955. He studied law in Basel and Neuchâtel. After completing a Master's degree at Columbia University in New York, he began his professional career in 1985 as a lawyer and notary in Basel in a large commercial law firm, where he still works today. From 2004 to 2010, he was president of the Kulturwerkstatt Kaserne (Kaserne Basel) association. He was then a member of the board of the Basel Theatre Festival Association from 2011 to 2018 and has been on the board of Theatergenossenschaft Basel since the 18/19 season.
