Schubert Costume design

Mascha Schubert was born in Kassel. She studied costume design at the Universität der Künste in Berlin and has been working as a freelance costume and set designer since graduating in 2007. Theatre work has been mainly with directors Julia Hölscher and Isabel Osthues, among others at the Schauspielhaus Magdeburg, the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, the Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam or the Comédie-Française in Paris. In addition, Mascha Schubert regularly works with the choreographer Vartan Bassil. At Theater Basel, she is designing the costumes for 'Unter dem Meer' by Hajo Schüler in the 23/24 season.
