Lydia
Caruso Dancer

Lydia Caruso was born in Milazzo, Italy. She studied classical and contemporary dance at ESDC Rosella Hightower in Cannes, France. After her graduation she attended the Ecole-atelier Rudra Bejart where she performed the Maurice Bejart Repertoire. In 2008 she worked for the Ballet du Grand Théatre de Genève. She then moved to Zaragoza, Spain, to perform for LaMov Company. In 2012 Lydia came back to Switzerland to become a member of Ballett Basel. During her career, she has performed in choreographies by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Benjamin Millepied, Itzik Galili, Richard Wherlock, Alexander Ekman, Stephan Thoss, Stijn Celis, Johan Inger, Hofesh Shechter, Bryan Arias, Jiri Pokorny, Martin Zimmermann, and many others.
