Julia Kraus works as a dancer, choreographer and dramaturge. She currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden. She graduated from Maslool in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2011 and completed a Master's degree in Directing for Movement and Performance-based Arts at Stockholm University of the Arts in 2018. She is also a trained Feldenkrais practitioner. As a choreographer, she has staged her own productions and worked in international collaborations. As a dancer, she has worked with choreographers such as Roy Assaf, Rotem Tashach, Maya Brinner, Dana Yahalomi, Mari Carrasco and others. Julia pursues an interdisciplinary approach in her work. She is interested in the interface between different forms of expression and media combinations, taking the thinking body as a starting point. Julia has been working as a rehearsal director together with Saar Magal since 2022. Most recently in the production 'Love me More' at Schauspiel Köln and in '10 odd emotions' at Schauspiel Frankfurt.
