Kiehl Stage & Costume

Florian Kiehl, born in 1994 in Düsseldorf, studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. Before studying, he assisted at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus for several seasons and completed an apprenticeship as a media designer in Cologne. During his studies at the UdK Berlin, he developed costume and stage designs at the university's uni.t-theater and the bat-studiotheater of the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. Further work followed, including at the Volksbühne Berlin, Volkstheater Wien, Volkstheater Rostock, Staatstheater Braunschweig, Staatstheater Hannover, Staatstheater Saarbrücken, Staatstheater Karlsruhe, WerkX Wien and the Elbphilharmonie, as well as for commercial and music video productions. 'Little Ice Age' is his second work at Theater Basel after 'Das Narrenschiff' in the 22/23 season.
