Italian dancer Eva Blunno began her dance training at the private school Studio del Movimento Danza in her hometown of Bologna. After graduating from high school, she studied for three years at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, where she received her bachelor's degree in dance in 2019. During her training, she completed an internship at Scapino Ballet Rotterdam under the direction of Ed Wubbe from 2018 to 2019 and participated in various summer intensive workshops, including at Nederlands Dans Theater. After graduating from university, she joined Ballet Basel under the artistic direction of Richard Wherlock in 2019. Throughout her professional career, she has danced works by Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman, Jiří Kylián, Richard Wherlock, Ed Wubbe, Cayetano Soto, and others. In August 2025, Eva Blunno was re-engaged by Ballet Basel under the new artistic direction of Marco Goecke.
