The Malagasy-French dancer Anthony Ramiandrisoa received his professional training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de la Danse (CNSMD) in his home city of Lyon, where he joined the Jeune Ballet du CNSMD de Lyon after graduating. From 2012 to 2022, he was a member of the Ballett Basel ensemble under the artistic direction of Richard Wherlock and danced in numerous world premieres and repertoire pieces. In 2022, he worked as a freelance artist and was a guest dancer for the Grand Théâtre de Genève under the artistic direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and for the contemporary company Snorkel Rabbit (Alba Castillo, Bryan Arias), among others. He also appears as a teacher and choreographic assistant. Over the course of his dance career, he has worked with renowned choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Hofesh Shechter, Sharon Eyal, Bryan Arias, Alexander Ekman, Marcos Morau, Johan Inger, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Javier Rodriguez Cobos, Itzik Galili and others. Anthony Ramiandrisoa has been working for Ballett Basel under the artistic direction of Marco Goecke since summer 2025.
