Toaspern Dancer

Alma Toaspern studied at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Tanz in Frankfurt am Main, and at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels under the direction of Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. From 2018 until 2022 she was a dancer and co-author in Corpus, the contemporary company of The Royal Danish Ballet. She works internationally with choreographers such as Bobbi Jene Smith, Tilman O'Donnell, Ioannis Mandafounis, Trajal Harrell, Ben Frost and Alexandra Bachzetsis at venues such as MoMA, Kaaitheater, Beirut Art Center, and Centre Pompidou. She co-founded the company toaspern|moeller with composer and singer Mathias Monrad Møller and produces works at the intersection between dance, contemporary music and opera.
