Adrienne Develey

Adrienne Develey is a communicator, trainer and coach. Adrienne Develey was born in Basel in 1972. After graduating with a degree in history and English, she began her professional career at Novartis in 2001 in the Corporate Communications department. Among other things, she was responsible for internal communications at the Basel plants, including the Campus Project, for product communications at Novartis Animal Health and for site communications at Novartis Pharma Schweiz AG, then based in Bern. In 2012, she moved to the electricity group Alpiq as Head of Group Communications. Three years later, she returned to Novartis with the intention of working more and more in HR. Since summer 2020, Adrienne Develey has headed the Novartis Career Centre and, together with her team, supports employees who need to reorient themselves professionally due to restructuring. Adrienne Develey does voluntary work for Theater Basel. Since the 13/14 season, she has been a member of the board of directors of the theatre cooperative, elected by the Basel-Stadt government. Her enthusiasm for Theater Basel goes back a long way: as a child, she was allowed to walk through the corridors of the theatre at the hand of her father, Dr Robert Develey - a theatre doctor for 55 years. Adrienne Develey recharges her batteries by running, hiking and swimming as well as meeting up with her family, her friends and her carnival clique.
