Florian Lösche, born in Munich in 1981, began studying stage design with Ezio Toffolutti at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in 2003 and moved to Raimund Bauer's class at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg in 2005. He has designed the sets for various productions by Jette Steckel and Antú Romero Nunes. He has also collaborated with Anne Lenk, Lars Ole Wahlburg and Athina Tsangari. These have taken him to the Deutsches Theater, the Maxim Gorki Theatre and the Schaubühne in Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Zürich, the Kammerspiele in Munich, the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Hamburg State Opera and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, among others. In the 23/24 season, he is responsible for the stage design for 'Die Dreigroschenoper'.
