Rasmus
Nissen Musician

Rasmus Nissen was born in 1982 in Tønder, Denmark. He studied jazz guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and at the Bern University of the Arts. Rasmus has been an active and versatile guitarist since his early years. He has toured with various projects and line-ups in Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, France, Vietnam, Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank. He has toured South Korea with his own trio. In the Netherlands, he gained a lot of experience on theatre stages, in musicals and shows. For his own trio, he composes and arranges in the styles of jazz, folk and surf. Rasmus Nissen has been working as a music teacher, band coach and guitar teacher at Thun High School since 2012. In the 23/24 season, he is part of the band for 'Die Dreigroschenoper'.
