Josie
Josie Daxter lives in London and works internationally as an actress and movement coach. She has been part of Simon McBurney's company Complicité since 2010, running courses and workshops in professional and non-professional theatre, opera and puppetry. As assistant director to Simon McBurney, she accompanied rehearsals and directed revivals of the productions 'The Magic Flute' (De Nederlandse Opera, English National Opera, Festival d'Aix-en-Provence), 'A Dog's Heart' (De Nederlandse Opera) and 'The Rake's Progress' (Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, De Nederlandse Opera, Stanislavsky Theatre Moscow). In the same capacity, she performed in Romeo Castellucci's 'Requiem' (Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, Adelaide Festival) and rehearsed the choreography for his production of 'The Monstrous Child' at the Royal Opera House.
