Nicky
van Cleef Dancer

Nicky van Cleef graduated in Jazz, Urban and Modern Dance from the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg in 2009. He then danced in various dance companies: International DanceTheater, ISH, HNDRD. Nicky now regularly performs on stage in productions by choreographer Isabelle Beernaert. He has a great love of opera and he has had the opportunity to dance in many works, such as ‹Die Nacht vor Weihnachten› (Oper Frankfurt), ‹Köningskinder› (National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam), ‹Der fliegende Holländer› and ‹Bruid te Koop› (Reisopera). Besides being a performer, Nicky has also founded his own dance company together with Pedro Ricardo Henry: Cuba meet the Netherlands. A dance company where two continents meet and where dance, music and song come together as one.
