Anda Kryeziu

Anda Kryeziu was born in Kosovo in 1993. She initially studied Piano and then Composition with Dieter Amann, Caspar Johannes Walter and Daniel Ott in Basel and Berlin. Later on, she turned her attention to Electro-acoustic Composition at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin under the guidance of Wolfgang Heiniger. Anda took home first prize from the Balkan Composers Competition 2019 and is a fellow of the Contemporary Arts Alliance Berlin and the Akademie Musiktheater Heute programme of the Deutsche Bank Foundation. Her music has been performed by various ensembles, including Ensemble Adapter, KNM Berlin, Asamisimasa (Oslo), Ensemble Phoenix Basel, Oerknal (Holland), and has been featured at numerous festivals, such as Münchener Biennale, Neue Musik Rümlingen, Mostra Sonora Sueca (Spain), Impuls (Graz), Aufwind (Vienna) and Zeiträume Basel. Anda's music is currently being released as part of the CD series Edition Zeitgenössische Musik. Her artistic interests range between instrumental music and electro-acoustics, especially in interdisciplinary and music-theatrical projects.
