A neighbourhood is celebrating culture
The Theaterplatz with its steps, levels and the world’s most famous carnival fountain will be transformed into the «Theaterplatz neighbourhood» together with the various local cultural institutions: a lively and polyphonic cultural venue right in the heart of Basel.
And we want to celebrate the opening of this event with you! We and Historisches Museum Basel, kult.kino, Kunsthalle Basel, Literaturhaus Basel, Offene Kirche Elisabethen, S AM Schweizerisches Architekturmuseu, Sinfonieorchester Basel, Stadtcasino Basel, Stadtkino Basel and the bird’s eye jazz club will be opening our doors to you on Saturday 11 September. A whole day full of performances, happenings, performances, concerts, guided tours, food stalls and signature drink on and around the Theaterplatz.
Free admission. Full programme will be available in August!
