Mirko
Mirko Campigotto was born in Italy, near Turin. He started dancing when he was 15 years old in a private school Achillea in Rivarolo Canavese. After moving to Florence, he was part of the group Kaos Balletto di Firenze which one of the directors was a former dancer of Ballett Basel, Katiuscia Bozza. In 2008 he finished his education at Codarts in Rotterdam.
In 2010 he started to work with Introdans in Holland and on tour around the world.
In 2013 he started to dance at the Saarländisches Staastheater Saarbrücken and from 2016 on Mirko is a member of the Ensemble from Ballett Theater Basel.
He worked with choreographers like Mats EK, Jiry Kylian, Hans van Manen, Lightfoot&Leon, Nacho Duato, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Stijn Celis, Margurite Donlon, Richard Wherlock, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter and Sharon Eyal.
