Sandoya Dancer

Celia Sandoya was born in Madrid, Spain, where she started studying dance. In 2014 she graduated from Conservatorio Carmen Amaya and in the same year she moved to Valencia to work at Ballet de Teatres de la Generalitat Valenciana where she remained until 2017. Afterwards she joined IT Dansa in Barcelona directed by Catherine Allard until she joined Ballett Theater Basel in 2019. Throughout this time she has performed works by Akram Khan, Ohad Naharin, Jirí Kylian, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Alexander Ekman, Sharon Eyal, Nacho Duato, Bryan Arias and Richard Wherlock among others.
