Elias
Boersma Dancer

Elias Boersma was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He started his dance-education in The Hague, at the School for Young Talent of the Royal Conservatory, Dance Department, during his primary and secundary school-period. After that he continued his study in the Bachelor of Arts Program of the Royal Conservatory, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Dance, after finishing his Internship at the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam. Elias is a member of Ballett Theater Basel in Switzerland since 2019. Throughout his education and professional career he danced in works by Sharon Eyal, Alexander Ekman, Johann Inger, Hans van Manen, Jiří Kylián, Richard Wherlock, Ed Wubbe, Leon/Lightfoot, Hofesh Shechter among others. Elias received the Dutch Encouragement Award of the Dansersfonds '79.
