Lilly Hartmann was born in Wiesbaden in 1996. At the age of fourteen, she went to Costa Rica for a year. After graduating from high school, she spent another year abroad as an au pair in Rome. During her psychology studies at the University of Mannheim, she came into contact with theater for the first time. In 2019, she founded the Improtheater Mannheim and is still regularly on stage there as a player and singer. After receiving her Master's degree in Cognitive and Clinical Psychology, she initially worked at the University of Heidelberg until she decided to take a completely new path. Since then, she has been studying acting at the Bern University of the Arts and has been involved in film and theater productions. She can currently be seen at Theater Basel in Sahar Rahimi's production of 'The Persians'.
