Flamur Blakaj entered the world in Basel in 1998. In 2016, he left school. Flamur was initially a full-blown street magician and kung fu legend. As a teenager, he discovered theatre at Junge Bühne Dornach. And fell head over heels for it. In 2020, he got serious about acting, swapping his kung fu shoes for a place at Bern University of the Arts (HKB). Once there, he took part in various projects such as ‹oh weh;› (directed by Marvin Groh) and ‹Vom Winde zerweht›, an ensemble work by Flamur Blakaj, Jonathan Ferdinand Fink and Tim Knieps. In 2022, he was invited to the Drama Student Meeting with his and Hanna Füger's bachelor project ‹eruption›, which caused quite a sensation. He loves to provoke people, as long as it gets them thinking. In the 2022/23 season, Flamur will be part of the HKB acting studio at Theater Basel.
