Nika Zupanc designs luxury interior design items and collaborates with renowned design companies such as Moooi, Sé and Dior. Since her appearance at Milan Design Week, she has been closely watched by the industry and the press, who describe her work as ranging from «punk elegance» (Elle USA) and «techno chic» (BusinessWeek) to «larger than life» (Clear Magazine) and Zupanc herself as «the real star» (The Wall Street Journal). Zupanc's works are not only exquisitely crafted, but also emotionally charged. Her work has a touch of theater and film noir, and somehow the objects make the user feel like an actor or actress.

The product and interior designer became known worldwide with the Lolita Lamp, her first object produced by Moooi. In 2008, she founded her own studio and since then has been working with her team as a product and interior design studio on new projects that grow out of distinctive interpretations of modern culture, contemporary design and available technological options. Her designs are part of the range of prestigious design companies such as Moooi, Qeeboo, Sé, Moroso and Natuzzi and she works with prestigious clients on specially commissioned projects such as her installation ‹Room of one's own› for Dior. Her award-winning collections and limited edition installations are exhibited around the world, sometimes as part of high-profile collaborations like the one with Rossana Orlandi. On the side, Zupanc continuously produces objects under her own brand Nika Zupanc and is involved in various interior design projects.
In the season 22/23, her luxury interior can be seen at Theater Basel in Edward Clug's ‹Coppélia› as part of the set design which she is designing together with the set designer Marko Japelj.
