We unreservedly condemn the unacceptable invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces. Theater Basel stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine who fear for their lives and their country. We also stand with those people who attend anti-war protests across Russia. Some of our colleagues are from Ukraine or have relatives and friends there. Together with them, we want to offer our support and help through various events over the coming weeks.

Ballet meets street dance. Both choreographers of this evening’s performance – Muhamed Kaltuk and Edouard Hue – started their dance careers in hip-hop, their works bring into focus the differences as well as the similarities of the dance styles.
