16 days against violence against women
The prevention campaign '16 days against violence against women' takes place annually from 25 November to 10 December. During the 16 days of action, gender-specific violence is addressed in panel discussions, theatre, self-defence courses, workshops and street actions throughout Switzerland. Gender-based violence is too often trivialised and taboo in Switzerland and around the world. With its wide range of events, the campaign is helping to take a closer look and combat this form of violence.
