Die Schauspielerin Nairi Hadodo

Nairi Hadodo was born in Cologne in 1995 and grew up in Düsseldorf. She first studied fine arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with a focus on installations and performance art before taking up her acting studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Bochum in 2016.
As part of her studies, she performed at Schauspiel Dortmund in 'Das Internat' directed by Ersan Mondtag (invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen) and at Schauspielhaus Bochum in 'Was Glänzt' (directed by Philipp Becker), awarded a promotional prize at the 30th Schauspielschultreffen. She was nominated for the Folkwang Prize 2020 for her diploma play development 'to preserve, to protect, to pop a bottle of moët'.
At the beginning of the 20/21 season she took up her first permanent engagement at Theater Basel. In the current season she plays Hermia in the production 'Ein Sommernachtstraum', invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen 2023 and Gabriele in the production 'Die bitteren Tränen der Petra von Kant'.
