Brave new working world
In the office of the future, everyone behaves mindfully. People work highly efficiently and remotely. Instead of dull drudgery, there is a flat hierarchy and an atmosphere of appreciation. The boundaries between job and leisure are blurred beyond recognition. But Bartleby no longer goes along with it. Work sucks, no matter how it comes across. Even more so when it has to be fun - as in "New Work". A revolt is instigated, anarchy breaks out! But what is behind the revolt? And where does it lead? Inspired by the story 'Bartleby the Scrivener', the musician, director and pop artist Rocko Schamoni and the Basel company devote themselves to the contradictions of the modern working world.
Together with the dramaturgy, Basel's Kulturhaus Bider & Tanner has curated the book table for our plays for many years. Now this selection of books, CDs, DVDs, catalogues or even sheet music can be accessed at any time in the online shop. It's worth browsing regularly.
