A game for everything

When Hamlet returns home, nothing is as it was. His father is dead, his mother Gertrude newly married to his uncle Claudius, who now rules Denmark. For Hamlet, the world has fallen apart at the seams. And then the ghost of his father tells him that his uncle has poisoned him. Can this be true? With the help of an acting troupe, Hamlet sets out to uncover the truth. Following the great success of ‹Ein Sommernachtstraum›, the Basel company is once again devoting itself to one of Shakespeare's masterpieces. This time it is about the question of whether theatre can influence a world that has suddenly and dramatically changed.
