Hallo Baqa’a!
Junges Haus

  • Ein Spielclub des Jungen Haus für alle ab 16 Jahren

About the work

Over the course of six months ‹Hallo Baqa’a› was transformed into ‹Amman-Basel Connection / my battery is dying›. Our aim was actually to overcome the miles by rehearsing together: Everyone ready in front of the screens and action! The plan was to ultimately stage a performance in front of an audience in Amman and in Basel. But things turned out a bit differently. The only thing left is the video, both here and there. But at least everyone is together.

Video documentary

We want to get to know each other! And rehearse together! But we are separated by borders, walls and the coronavirus pandemic. Extremely complicated. But luckily there is WiFi. Young people from Amman and Basel have been meeting up via zoom calls for months, thereby becoming digital buddies. The video documentary was released on 5 March.

Junges Haus
