Dramaturgy

Sylvia Roth studied musicology, history and art history in Freiburg, Vienna and Cologne and graduated with an interdisciplinary thesis on 'Fluxus and Music'. She then worked as a music theatre dramaturge at the Krefeld/Mönchengladbach Theatre, the Dortmund Theatre, the Hanover State Opera and the Bremen Theatre. This led to numerous close collaborations with various directors, including Benedikt von Peter on the productions 'Intolleranza 1960', 'Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny', 'La traviata' and 'La bohème'. In 2011, a cultural scholarship took her to Lisbon.
