Stuber
Actor
Simon Stuber, born in 1987, attended the acting training programme at Theater HORA from 2014 to 2016. He has been a permanent member of the ensemble since 2017 and most recently appeared in ‹Es war keinmal oder das Märchen von der Normalität› (2021) by Henrike Iglesias, in ‹Der kaukasische Kreidekreis› by Rimini Protokoll/Helgard Haug (2023) and very intimately in the film and performance ‹Schule der Liebenden› (2023) by melanie bonajo/Daniel Cremer/Yanna Rüger. He had the leading role in Remo Beuggert's ‹Kontaktkiller› (2018). He is the favourite actor of his colleague Caitlin Friedly. He usually plays his characters clearly and with full physical commitment. He specialises in slow, deep thinking, love scenes and very unique dances, and has also attracted attention in recent years as the author of short philosophical texts in which he takes a precise and subtle look at everyday life in a very poetic language. He loves film and would love to see himself in a major leading role on the big screen. In the 25/26 season, he will be on stage for the first time at Theater Basel in ‹Gesellschaft mit besonderer Hingabe (GmbH)› by director Christoph Marthaler.
