Pascu Ortí studied performing arts in Paris, London and New York. As a dancer and actor, he has appeared on stage in numerous international musical productions, including ‹Chicago›, ‹My Fair Lady›, ‹Dreams›, Monty Python's ‹Spamalot›, ‹The Producers› and ‹Peter Pan› in London. He is also a regular guest dancer in opera productions at the Teatro Real de Madrid and has already worked with internationally renowned directors such as Stefan Herheim ‹La Cenerentola›, Leonard Foglia ‹Dead Man Walking›, Calixto Bieito ‹Carmen›, Robert Carsen ‹Die Walküre›, Hugo de Ana ‹Aida›, Xavier Alberti ‹El Abrecartas›, Yannis Kokkos ‹Tancredi› and Christof Loy ‹Rusalka› and ‹Arabella›. Other guest engagements include ‹Werther› directed by Robert Carsen at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and ‹Orfeo ed Euridice› under Christof Loy at the Salzburg Festival. He has also appeared in front of the camera in Spain for film and television productions such as ‹The Promise›, ‹Explode Explode› and ‹The Secret of Porcelain›. Pascu Ortí has worked as a director and choreographer in several musical and television productions such as ‹Spirit of Spain› and ‹Die Schöne und das Biest›, as well as for major events and international film projects. At Theater Basel, he is once again working with Christof Loy in the productions ‹Turandot› (24/25) and ‹El barberillo de Lavapiés› (25/26).
