Meng-ke
Meng-Ke Wu was born in Taichung. At the age of 21, she received a scholarship from the National Taipei University of the Arts to continue her professional career in Europe and was awarded a contract with the Tanztheater München. The following year, she became a member of Nederlands Dans Theater 2. In 2010, Meng-Ke Wu won the Best Dancer Award and the Audience Award at the Stuttgart International Solo Dance Theatre Festival. In 2013, she was promoted to NDT1 by the artistic director. During her time at NDT, she worked with Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Sol León and Paul Lightfoot, Crystal Pite, Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier, Marco Goecke, Sharon Eyal as well as Gai Behar and Hofesh Shechter. Since 2019, Meng-Ke Wu has continued her career as a freelance dancer, curator and international teacher between Asia and Europe.
