Max Konrad is an Austrian actor, speaker, presenter and puppeteer born in Vienna. He discovered his love of acting in 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' at the Walz school theatre. He remained true to this love while studying architecture and working as a presenter at classical concerts until he decided to study acting at the Film Academy in Vienna in 2014. During his training, he already took on various roles in short films and in the off-theatre scene. After graduating from the Theater in der Josefstadt with equal stage maturity and graduating with distinction from drama school in 2017, further theatre engagements followed. In 2022, he took on the role of Franz Huchel in 'Der Trafikant' at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen. He was awarded the Kurt-Sieder Audience Award 2023 for this role. He was also seen at the Perchtoldsdorf Summer Festival in 'Don Quixote' and most recently as a puppeteer in 'Die Zauberflöte' at the Vienna Volksoper as well as at the Vienna State Opera in 'Madama Butterfly' and at the Semperoper in 'L'Orfeo'.
