Schötz Concept & direction

Marius Schötz studied classical composition and singing at HfMDK Frankfurt and at HMDK Stuttgart as well as directing at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin. His production ‹Messias aus Hessen› was awarded the Max Reinhardt Prize, the top prize at the 2018 Theatre Meeting of German-Speaking Drama Students in Graz. He completed his degree with the production ‹Madame Poverty – a set of emotion and sensation› at Volksbühne Berlin. Marius has since worked closely with Marthe Meinhold as composer, librettist and director. The two have already staged productions in Saarbrücken, Weimar, Vienna and Karlsruhe.
