Marius Aron, bass-baritone, was born in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), a city in the hills of Transylvania. He discovered his artistic passion at an early age through ballroom dancing and later through pop music. He studied classical singing at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in his home town, where he made his operatic debut at the Romanian National Opera as Jack Wallace in Puccini's ‹La fanciulla del West› at the age of 22. A master's degree took him first to the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and then to the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. There he made his international debut at the Stuttgart State Opera as the Cappadocian in Richard Strauss' ‹Salome› and at the Wilhelma Theatre as Don Alfonso in ‹Così fan tutte› and as Schaunard in ‹La bohème›.
