Sá Nogueira Costumes

Mariana Sá Nogueira is an artist, costume designer and seamstress based in Lisbon. She graduated in Fashion Design from Central St Martins College of Art in London and studied Drawing at the SNBA (Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes) in Lisbon. She also has a degree in theatre design from the ESTC (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema) in Amadora, where she currently teaches costume design and drawing as a professor. She has been designing costumes for theatre, dance, opera, film, fashion, television, advertising and private clients since 1988. She has worked with all the major theatres and independent theatre companies in Portugal and her work has been performed throughout Europe and Brazil. Since 1997, she has been a founding member and part of the artistic direction of the theatre company Cão Solteiro. In the 24/25 season she is responsible for the costumes for ‹Was ist das Kind so schön›.
