The Armenian soprano Mané Galoyan completed her training at the Houston Grand Opera Studio and the Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory. She is a prizewinner of the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition 2014 and the Dallas Opera Guild Vocal Competition 2017, among others, and won 2nd prize at the Operalia Competition in 2021. She attracted attention at the Glyndebourne Festival as Violetta Valéry in ‹La traviata› and made a guest appearance at the Metropolitan Opera in New York as Chloe in ‹Pique Dame›. She made her debut at the Zurich Opera House in 2020 as Adina in ‹L'elisir d'amore›. As an ensemble member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin in the 21/22 season, she sang Pamina ‹Die Zauberflöte›, Violetta and Corinna ‹Il viaggio a Reims›, among others. Guest engagements have taken her to the Dutch National Opera as Violetta, to the Glyndebourne Festival with the title role in ‹Luisa Miller›, to the Opéra national de Paris with a house debut as Adina, to Aix-en-Provence with Berthe in ‹Le prophète› and to the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Seattle Opera as Violetta. Most recently, she sang Suor Angelica in Puccini›s opera cycle ‹Il trittico› at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and at the Bavarian State Opera, gave a concert evening at the Detroit Opera, interpreted Pamina ‹Die Zauberflöte› at the Vienna State Opera, gave a Christmas concert with the Basel Symphony Orchestra and sang Donna Anna ‹Don Giovanni› with the Canadian Opera Company. In the 24/25 season she can be seen as Liù in ‹Turandot›.
