Machan Dramaturgy

Lucie Machan studied Comparative Literature, English Literature and Art History at the Bertold Brecht University of Augsburg. After various further training courses in Germany and abroad, she worked as a dramaturge for Ballett Augsburg, Tanz Luzerner Theater, the dance company of Konzert Theater Bern and Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballett between 2008 and 2023, where she was involved in numerous world premieres. She has also worked in other areas of theatre operations such as the artistic operations office, PR & marketing, sponsoring & fundraising and as a production manager. Lucie Machan has been a dramaturge for Ballett Basel and responsible for special events since August 2025.
