Lisa Van Cauwenbergh, born in Belgium, received her training at the Royal Ballet School Antwerp between 2010 and 2013 and at the Académie Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo from 2013 to 2017 under the direction of Luca Masala. In the same year, she received a permanent engagement at the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm and danced in choreographies by Jiří Kylian, Christopher Weeldon, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Marco Goecke, Jeroen Verbruggen, Lukáš Timulak, among others. In 2015, she participated in a Summer Intensive of the Nederlands Dans Theater, where she acquired repertory knowledge from choreographers such as Paul Lightfoot and Sol León, among others. From 2022 to 2025, she was engaged at the Staatstheater Nürnberg Ballet under Goyo Montero, where she was featured in numerous new creations and restagings by renowned choreographers. With the 25/26 season, Lisa Van Cauwenbergh is a member of the Ballet Basel.
