Karl Friedrich Maximilian Götte was born in Bielefeld in 1994. In 2016, he began a directing internship at Theater Bielefeld. Until 2018, he accompanied works by directors Christian Schlüter, Tim Tonndorf & Michael Heicks, among others. In addition to theater work, he worked as a production assistant in film, most recently for ‹TÁR› directed by Todd Field. He studied Film Studies at the Swedish Film Institute in Stockholm and Social and Business Communication at the University of the Arts in Berlin, where he graduated in 2022. This was followed by acting studies at the Bern University of the Arts, during which he performed in Amelie Niermeyer's ‹Guillaume Tell› at Bühnen Bern, among others. Independent projects such as ‹Die Herzog Methode›, for which he provided the concept, text and play, were invited to the KULTURESK Festival Bern in 2024 and to the Kasemattentheater Luxembourg. In the 24/25 season, Maxi is part of the acting studio at Theater Basel and can be seen in Christoph Marthaler's ‹Dr. Watzenreuthers Vermächtnis - Ein Wunschdenkfehler›, as well as in ‹Die Physiker›.
