Jamal
Uhlmann Dancer

Born in Berlin, Jamal Uhlmann completed his dance training at the State Ballet School Berlin and the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. From 2019 to 2021, he danced as an élève at the Hanover State Ballet under the ballet direction of Marco Goecke. In 21/22, he was engaged by Aterballetto in Emilia-Romagna (IT) and moved to the Hanover State Ballet as a permanent ensemble member in 22/23. He has danced in repertoire works and world premieres by choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Johan Inger, Sharon Eyal, Aszure Barton, Edward Clug, Goyo Montero, Liliana Barros, Marco Goecke, Hofesh Shechter, Medhi Walerski, Andonis Foniadakis, Lukáš Timulak, Juliano Nunes, Diego Tortelli, Eyal Dadon und Sofia Nappi. Since the 25/26 season, Jamal Uhlmann has been a member of the Ballett Basel company under the direction of Marco Goecke.
