Hanh Mai Thi
Hanh Mai Thi Tran was born in Dresden in 1994. After gaining her first stage experience at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, she studied acting at the University of Art and Design in Graz from 2015 to 2019. Here she worked with Maxim Didenko, Pedro Martins Beja and Sabine Auf der Heyde, among others. She was already a guest at the Schauspielhaus Graz during her studies. From 2019 to 2023, Hanh Mai Thi Tran was a permanent ensemble member at the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin. She has worked with directors such as Anta Helena Recke, Sebastian Nübling, Sebastian Baumgarten and Oliver Frljić. Since summer 2023, she has been working as a freelance actress at the Staatstheater Hannover and Theater Basel, among others. She can also be seen in film and television (most recently in the Berlin crime scene: 'Am Tag der wandernden Seelen' directed by Mira Thiel) and works as a voice-over artist.
