Patricio Dancer

Francisco Patrício started dancing at the age of three years old in his hometown Coimbra, Portugal. From 2012 til 2015, he studied and graduated in the National Conservatory Dance School in Lisbon, where in his last year of graduation, he worked with Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo and participated in the 43th Prix de Lausanne – Competition for Young Dancers. In 2015 he studied at the Ballettschule Theater Basel under the direction of Amanda Bennet and for one year in the École Nationale Supérieure de Danse de Marseille. He started his professional carrier in Ballet National de Marseille under the direction of Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten. Since 2019 he is a member of the Ballett Theater Basel and working with choreographers like Alexander Ekman, Sharon Eyal and Richard Wherlock. He participated in a choreographer’s competition called Dançarte in Lisboa where he created his own solo titled ‹Duality›.
