Italian Filippo Ferrari received his basic dance training at the Centro danza studio DIA in his hometown of Modena. In 2019 he attended the Ballett Dortmund Summer Intensive where he studied several repertoires including works by Alexander Ekman and Jiří Kylián. In 2020 he attended the Tanzolymp dance competition in Berlin where he was awarded the first prize. In 2022 he worked as a guest dancer with Balletto di Parma (IT) and MoNo dance company (IT). Eventually he joined the State Ballet Hannover (Marco Goecke/Christian Blossfeld) from 22/23 until 24/25. During those three seasons he experienced many different repertoire pieces that include choreographies by Marco Goecke, Johan Inger, Sharon Eyal, Edward Clug, Hofesh Shechter among others. He also took part in several creation processes by Marco Goecke, Liliana Barros, Andonis Foniadakis. Since season 25/26, Filippo Ferrari is a member of Ballet Basel under the artistic direction of Marco Goecke.
